Registered Dietitian
The GR Nutrition Group (GRN) Crew is dedicated to helping people heal their relationship with food and their body. We support recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic dieting. We do this through one-on-one nutrition counseling with the best dietitians, community presentations that are relevant and engaging, and program courses that make nutritional health interactive and practical.
We are growing and looking for someone who can lead multiple nutrition counseling sessions per day with people looking to heal their relationship with food. You are a safe space, you are easy to talk to, and you also know how to effectively guide towards recovery goals.
General Responsibilities. A day in the life.
You’ll lead individual nutrition counseling sessions providing a safe space for clients to process, receive education and support.
You’ll give clients insightful feedback, help work through challenges, and highlight progress towards goals.
You’ll maintain proper documentation in EHR, respond to emails and phone calls.
You’ll coordinate care with other clinicians and treatment team members.
You’ll collaborate with the GRN team to encourage collective growth and knowledge.
Empathy, humility, and caring deeply about people
Strong listening skills and clear communication skills
The ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people, including adolescents, adults, and families
Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission on Dietetics Registration
Licensed Dietitian (LD) through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (or willingness to obtain)
1+ years experience working as a registered dietitian with the eating disorder community
Practice philosophy rooted in weight-inclusive, culturally-sensitive, and compassionate care
Job Must-Haves
Advanced training/certification in a specific area of interest (ex. CEDS, CDCES, Intuitive Eating, etc.)
Working proficiency in another language outside English
Job Nice-To-Haves
Pay Range: $33.00+/hr
Hours Per Week: caseload will build gradually over time to the number of hours desired by RD
Please note: This is a contract (1099) position.
